What is KnowDelay?
KnowDelay is a must-have app that helps travelers avoid weather-related flight delays.
Can’t I just rely on my airline to notify me of a weather delay?
You can, but often airline notifications happen close to departure time, or even after-the-fact. We predict flight delays up to three days in advance, while there’s still time to find alternatives or change plans.
How much is a KnowDelay membership?
We have Free and Paid for memberships. Here’s the difference:
- Free membership provides access to our interactive DelayMap, with weather-related delay predictions up to the three days in advance.
- Paid members (day/monthly/annual) also get access to proactive delay notifications for their specific itinerary, can view flight delay predictions, and search for alternative flight options. See our Plans page for more information.
How many trips can I track on KnowDelay?
Monthly and annual memberships are valid for unlimited itineraries, while a day pass is valid for the day of travel plus adjacent days.
Will KnowDelay notify me of delays, or do I have to check myself?
You can do either. Paid members are sent proactive notifications once you have submitted an itinerary. You can also go into the app and check for yourself and look for alternative options.
What airports are covered?
The KnowDelay travel app provides delay predictions for the hundreds of North American airports, with special focus on the most delay-prone airports in the US. Check this list on our Demo Map page.
Do you cater for Pilots and Cabin Crew?
